FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: pillar with end piece carries bushing, bearing member with thrust rods having sharpened ends, and spring positioned between bushing and bearing member. Metal ring is mounted between bushing and spring for free motion along pillar. Bearing member is made of metal as hollow body of revolution. It consists of flange with holes which receive thrust rods, as well as seat and trunnion arranged sequentially. Internal diameter of seat corresponds to end piece diameter, and trunnion embraces pillar with clearance which allows bearing member to move along it Trunnion has two longitudinal grooves with face walls positioned diametrically. Thrust rods have sharpened ends in form of screws. Every rod is provided with two nuts located on both sides of bearing member flange. Pillar has holes which receive pin capable of engaging the face walls of trunnion grooves. Bushing is secured rigidly to pillar. It has shoulder with threaded holes which receive screws capable of acting on ring which rests upon spring. Bearing member trunnion length equals at least one and a half diameters of pillar. Bushing, rings and bearing member are made of light-alloy metal. EFFECT: higher stability in walking. 3 cl, 4 dwg
