SMOKE EXHAUSTER Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: exhaust of smoke from building storeys through apertures in walls of the exhaust shaft. SUBSTANCE: smoke exhauster has a gate installed in guides for movement by means of wheels and collar-rim rollers, drive electromagnet with bearing rollers and central roller on the armature, and a holder in the form of an L-shaped lever. The holder vertical arm and the bench back form guides for armature movement. The gate is suspended from the horizontal arm by means of a clamp located on the hinge pivot, by means of which an additional lever in the form of a handle and ball pen is fastened on the gate. Owing to the fact that the clamp is made on the rear side of the holder horizontal arm, self-engagement of the clamp with the holder is provided under gravity of the handle and pen. The gate can be opened by hand by turning the handle upwards. EFFECT: enhanced convenience in use and enhanced reliability. 3 dwg
