FIELD: rolled stock production, namely, manufacture of limited-tonnage lots of rational blanks of parts in machine engineering plants by reversing one-piece multipass rolling method. SUBSTANCE: reversing rolling mill includes framework, casing, pinion stand, foundation common for pinion stand and casing, housing with rolling rolls, apparatuses for vertical motion of housing and radially adjusting roll gap, drive mechanism, apparatus for axially moving casing, reversing mechanism. Rolling mill is driven one. Foundation of casing and pinion stand engages with framework by means of roller guides with possibility of moving in direction of rolling process and along axes of rolls. Housing is mounted in casing with possibility of vertical motion. Apparatuses for vertically moving housing and radially adjusting roll gap are mounted on intermediate base also in casing. Reversing mechanism is in the form of planetary gearing engaged with reduction gear of drive mechanism and with shaped double-side rack. Rack has circular toothed portions in its ends and it is joined with inlet shaft of pinion stand through movable carriage. Apparatus for axially moving casing also is joined with reversing mechanism and it is in the form of worm reduction gear and cam. Cam by means of roller secured to foundation moves spring-loaded foundation relative to framework along axes of rolls. Worm reduction gear of apparatus for axially moving casing may be moved along axes of rolls by means of screw-nut transmission. Apparatuses for vertically moving housing and for radially adjusting roll gap are joined with pinion stand by means of gearings with switch-on clutch. EFFECT: improved design. 5 cl, 14 dwg
