METHOD TO TREAT ALCOHOLISM NAMED "A TRIPLE DEFENCE" Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, narcology. SUBSTANCE: at the first stage of treatment an esperal is introduced per 0.25 g twice daily for 5-10 days. During the second stage a psychosuggestive impact is conducted by imperative suggestion in awake state of a patient. At the third stage a herb infusion is introduced prepared by simple mixing of the following herbs, such as leonorus, mint, wormwood and asarum at the ratio of 1.0:0.5:0.3:0.2, correspondingly followed by a fractional water extraction of components. Herb infusion should be introduced per 100 ml thrice daily 20 minutes before meals for the period of 21 days. EFFECT: higher efficiency of the method, decreased terms of therapy course.
