FIELD: power metallurgy, in particular, production of hard alloys based on tungsten carbide. SUBSTANCE: sintered hard alloy contains the following ingredients, wt. -%: high-manganese steel, 15-50; zirconium and rhenium, total, 0.4-1.0 in ratio 1:1; tungsten carbide, the balance. Initial ingredients are ground in ball mill, in medium of gasoline with rubber. Powder blend is dried, granulated and pressed at pressure of 1-1.5 t/sq.cm. Pressed briquettes are subjected to gravity sintering in vacuum for 40-60 min at temperature of 1300-1350 C depending on content of binding phase. After sintering, hard alloy is hardened from the temperature of 1100 C in oil. EFFECT: higher ultimate strength and ultimate strain up to collapse. 1 tbl
