SUBSTANCE: vegetable material is loaded into hydrolysis apparatus in absence of wetting, pressure is raised, material is wetted, and first percolation stage is carried out by feeding hexose hydrolyzate under the pressure of second percolation stage and washing. EFFECT: reduced steam consumption in hydrolysis stage, sulfuric acid and chemicals on neutralization, and cooling water; increased alcohol concentration. 2 tbl
