FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: end seal friction pair consists of movable and fixed sealing rings. One of rings is made of aluminium alloy with aluminium oxide layer. Other ring is made of antifriction material whose hardness is less than that of aluminium oxide. Aluminium oxide layer is formed by method of microarc oxidation. EFFECT: prevention of chipping on rings of seal. 1 dwg
