FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: given former of modulating voltage is proposed for stations of active flickering noises. It includes generator of clock pulses, first and second counters, repetition frequency divider with controlled count-down ratio, pulse former, adder and logic OR-ELSE element. Output of generator of clock pulses is connected to pulse input of repetition frequency divider with controlled count-down ratio and to counting input of first counter which digit outputs from first to nth are connected bit-by-bit to inputs of digits of first number of adder connected with its output to one input of logic OR-ELSE element. Output of repetition frequency divider with controlled count-down ratio is connected to counting input of second counter which digit outputs from first to nth are connected bit-by-bit to inputs of digits of second number of adder. Output of last, (n=1)-th digit of second counter is connected to other input of logic OR-ELSE element which output is connected to output terminal of former. Asynchronous reset input of first counter is connected to asynchronous reset input of second counter and to output of pulse former connected with input to terminal sending command for start of flickering. Inputs of digits of controlling parallel code from first to nth, of repetition frequency divider with controlled count-down ratio are connected bit-by-bit to terminals for sending of signals of digits of parallel controlling code. Proposed former generates output modulating signals with variable pulse duration which changes thanks to pulse- duration modulation of signal produced across output of adder. During one half-period of flickering pulse duration of formed signals diminishes, during next half-period it grows. Such change and abrupt jumps of average power of radiated noise with transfer from silence mode to radiation one and they can be used to detect fact of formation of flickering noise. Proposed former can control flickering frequency with use of controlling parallel code. Former is realized on elements of digital technology. Methods common for digital devices can be used for its design and manufacture which increases adaptability of article for manufacture.
