FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: envelope is moved in device automatically to positions of cutting and fusing operations, and then collar developed in process of molding is broken off. Device has manipulator located above transport conveyer running from envelope molding operation, in transverse direction to it. Article transferring auxiliary conveyer made in the form of two line transporters is installed on both sides of transport conveyer close to the latter. Envelope is moved on transport conveyer and sucked at preset place by means of vacuum catchers located on manipulator carriages. Envelope is brought to both line transporters of conveyer alternately. Line transporters transfer envelope to cutting position and to fusing position having two stages. As a result, envelope collar is broken off. EFFECT: higher efficiency of operation. 12 cl, 10 dwg
