FIELD: production of precision shapes of small cross-section area (up to 100 sq.mm). SUBSTANCE: existing processes of precision shape production with small cross-section area (up to 100 sq.mm) includes a large number of alternating operations of cold plastic deformation, heat treatment (recrystallization annealing) and preparatory operations for deformation. Multicycle methods raises cost of shapes, and in a number of cases, impairs quality of products, depth of decarbonization layers increases, level of mechanical properties decreases. The combined application of high-speed heating methods, hot plastic deformation and regulated cooling makes it possible to overcome the above shortcoming and extends potentiality of production of precision shapes. The precision shaped belong to a novel type of effective metal rolled products whose application in precise mechanical engineering provides for increase of metal utilization factor up to 0.90-0.95. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
