FIELD: designing of new testing units and reconstruction of existing testing stands. SUBSTANCE: testing unit has dynamometric platform 1 on which engine 3 to be tested is secured by means of intermediate frame 2. Platform 1 is mounted by means of flexible supports 4 on columns 5,6 interconnected by thermally compensating insert 7. Graduation system positioned on column 5 has lever 8 with unequal arms. Larger arm of lever 8 is positioned for engagement with extension spring 9, which is connected with power electric drive 10. Smaller arm of lever 8 is positioned for engagement with calibrated electric power converter 11 mounted on platform 1. Column 6 carries dynamometric electric power converter 12 engageable with platform 1 and lever 13 with load 14 for preloading of power converter 12. Lever 13 has load weight error compensator made in the form of tare weighing member 15, which is mounted on lever 13 for movement along guide 16 and may be fixed in predetermined position.
