FIELD: rocketry. SUBSTANCE: solid-propellant rocket engine includes nozzle support made in form of metal cone smoothly changing into cylinder at radius of 0.4 to 0.6 of outer diameter of cylinder. Inner surface of cone is provided with two circular teeth directed at angle relative to each other forming lock; inner surface is reinforced with elastic heat-protective material. Rocket engine has housing made from composite material, metal funnel with tail-piece and flexible gasket fitted between housing and taper portion of support; it is made from phenolic rubber adhesive film. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of rocket engine due to avoidance of motion of nozzle support along engine axis and its break under action of working pressure of powder gases during engine operation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
