SUBSTANCE: coupling for mechanism for feeding bar and bailed materials has holder, members installed for contacting the feed materials for longitudinal supply of materials. Coupling has at least one deformed ring installed into holder. The members for feeding materials are essentially rods installed in the deformed ring for displacement in holder motion to one side and getting wedged with fed materials in holder motion to the other side. Holder is installed for reciprocation for longitudinal feed of fed materials. EFFECT: reduced dimensions of coupling and extended range of type-sizes of fed materials. 3 cl, 3 dwg
