SUBSTANCE: plug-and-socket connector has socket incorporating power jacks to receive plug pins, seal protecting its interior from environmental effects which at least partially fills up its interior and partially emerges from socket when plug is inserted into it, as well as elastoplastic holding diaphragm with blind depression deflecting outside to receive displaced seal when plug is inserted into socket and to push it back into socket when plug is removed from the latter.
