FIELD: animal farming. SUBSTANCE: device has thick-wall conical casing with longitudinal recess in its lower part and hollow ball-shaped shock-absorber filled with porous material. Metal hoop removably put onto upper part of casing is connected with rubber tape which is connected to hook engageable with base of one horn. Rubber pressing ring is put onto casing. Prior to conducting procedures, device is put on animal's horn at side, from which procedure is to be conducted. Pressing ring is urged for sliding down the casing so that hook engages other horn. Upon accomplishment of procedures, hook is initially removed, then pressing ring is released by moving it upward and device is finally removed from the horn. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and reliable protection of specialists from animal's horn impacts. 2 dwg
