FIELD: oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: method is intended for use in late phases of developing deposits with nonuniform type of collectors. Aqueous solution with microbial biomass and nutrient complex (biochemical production product) is pumped in into oil bed. Use of microorganisms adapted to bed temperature (up to 90 C) and to hydrocarbon nutrition in bed conditions provides concentration of bacteria 1010-1013 clone/ml. Microbial mass is not toxic and does not exhibit carcinogenic and cumulative effects. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of displacing oil from bed. 3 tbl
