DEVICE FOR BREAKING OF PIPES Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: device relates to shooting and exploding equipment intended for liquidation of breakdowns and secondary opening of bed. Device has body which is connected with cable head. Installed in body along its axis in height of lateral planes are main punch and at least one additional punch. Both punches are made in the form of penetrators which are located uniformly over circumference. Penetrators are displaced in azimuth relative to each other in adjacent punches. Punches are connected with detonation transmitting system. Penetrators of each additional punch have their shaped charge recesses inclined towards penetrators of main punch with possibility of crossing lateral planes of symmetry of main and additional penetrators. Punches are made in the form of disks of explosive material with lined radial tapered shaped charge recesses. Installed between punches are inserts made of inert material. Last punch is detonationally linked through insert with charge of explosive material of shattering type which is located in body at side which is opposite to cable head. Main punch can be made in the form of annular shaped charge. Made in inserts between punches are circular grooves. Application of aforesaid embodiment of device improves efficiency of operations at breaking of thick-wall weighted drill pipes of medium and small diameters. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
