FIELD: peat extracting machinery. SUBSTANCE: peat milling device has following components: frame with supporting roller, milling cutter with working members, roll-type forming unit, peat bed relief checking mechanism. Made on round-shape and truncated working members of milling cutter is flat working surface. Height of working surface is assumed as sum of diameters of upper base and top of cone of working member. Height of flat working surface is counted from top of cone. Aforesaid embodiment of peat bed milling device gives improved reliability and increased productive capacity.
