FIELD: bridge construction; may be used in metal railroad bridges. SUBSTANCE: floor of metal railroad bridge has deck plate located at the level of top of deck chords of primary trusses reinforced from below by longitudinal and transverse ribs. In this case, transverse ribs are located in joints of primary trusses at distances equalling the length of truss panel. Deck plate width is smaller than distance between internal faces of chords and connected with chords by longitudinal angles with use of high-strength bolts in joints of primary trusses.
