FIELD: operation of gas-condensate wells; may be used in gas producing industry. SUBSTANCE: well operation is started before stabilization of wellhead pressures and temperature, condensate-gas factor and density of stable condensate in periodic measurements and testing for gas condensate. With gas flow rate of 30-300 thou.cu.m/day, well prior to testing is shut in up to wellhead pressure build-up to static pressure and temperature. Well operation is started at maximum depression on formation and maximum wellhead pressure. Coefficient of gas condensate surface tension is determined and on its bases, critical size of gas condensate drop is determined. Drop is split up when the coefficient is high. Gas critical flow velocity is calculated. Well operation is carried out at wellhead pressure, temperature and flow velocity higher than critical. This ensure existence in well of disperse system of condensate drops suspended in gas. EFFECT: reduced losses of condensate in well zone of formation by reduction of depression on formation. 3 tbl
