FIELD: mechanical engineering; mining industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed tensioning device is designed for use in mine machinery in hydraulic tensioning system of conveyor working member. Tensioning device consists of hydraulic drive with hydraulic cylinders for tensioning working member and turning the conveyor, pump hydraulic control unit, pilot controlled check valve, hydraulic pressure valve, OR hydraulic valve, pressure and drain, main lines, controlled hydraulic valve with piston of step design, outlet and inlet channels and control channel. Outlet channel communicates with conveyor working member tensioning hydraulic cylinders, and inlet channel of controlled hydraulic valve is connected with pump pressure main line. Control channels of controlled hydraulic valve is connected with conveyor turning hydraulic cylinders through OR hydraulic valve and pilot controlled check valve. EFFECT: provision of automatic operation of tensioning device irrespective of position of conveyor, enhanced performance. 1 dwg
