TRIPPER FOR TWO-SIDE SORTING OF MATERIAL Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: timber industry; transportation and sorting of logs; sorting of long-cut materials in other industries. SUBSTANCE: tripper has base with guide cross chute built into carrying conveyor. Rolls are installed in chute for movement. Each roll is coupled through axle with one of saddle posts. Base of tripper, in its turn, is furnished with post stops arranged opposite to fixing rollers. With tripper released, point of material supports move to side opposite to slipping which contributes to rotation of material, its quick and soft throwing. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities, enhanced reliability of tripper, preservation of its overall dimensions in operation. 2 cl, 1 dwg
