FIELD: oil production. SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of gravel suspension from surface through washpipe to outlet holes by the device run into well to point adjacent to section to be filled. Outlet holes are closed at the moment of retrival of washpipe from the device. The proposed device has filler, valve-discharging unit with outlet hole and valve regulating the flow, means for supply of gravel suspension to each outlet hole. Valve-discharging unit is communicated with filter. The device is made in the form of many interconnected members. Gravel suspension is supplied through internal space of filter members. Suspension flows through passage between inner and outer pipes and through holes to annular space and to valve-discharging unit. Unit has valve, cylindrical swelling with radial holes for suspension, circular recess and sliding bushing-valve. Radial hole is communicated with outlet hole, with valve in open position. In closed position, valve is secured by inner detent. EFFECT: higher efficiency of filling well section with gravel due to uniform distribution of gravel and protection from damage to equipment in operation and installation. 10 cl, 5 dwg
