FIELD: application of strengthening coats onto end surfaces of parts by electrophysical and electrochemical processes. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes magnetic circuit with inductor coil. Movable magnetic circuit is mounted with possibility of oscillation and it is provided with coil for passing fusion electric current and electrode secured to magnetic circuit. Cross magnetic circuit with oscillation coils is provided with additional oscillation coil for creating opposite magnetic flux. Reed switches for switching over oscillation coils at achieving maximum fusion current are mounted on poles of oscillation magnetic circuit. Apparatus also includes direct current source and source of full-wave rectified current for fusion. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and quality of strengthening process. 1 dwg
