FIELD: digital equipment, in particular, decompression and detection of channels in digital streams of different level of hierarchical compression. SUBSTANCE: method involves selection of synchronization signals in received signal, synthesis of signal model, its storage in memory, reading it in step with signal using synchronization signals, and regeneration. This results in possibility to achieve information constituents in digital stream. Corresponding device has synchronization selector 1, memory unit 2 which has reading and writing circuits, clock regenerator 7, information regenerator 4, PC memory unit 5, clock signals delay unit 6, information delay unit 7. EFFECT: digital stream processing using synthesis of signal model, their storage and reading from memory unit in step with received signal. 1 dwg
