SUBSTANCE: method involves representation of signal which is transmitted in each discrete packet as segment parts, and at least one of said signal parts has given data sequence. Value of maximal power of segment which has given data sequence and is amplified by amplifier of cellular phone is measured by instrument. This value is compared to value which is stored in memory and describes level of maximal power which corresponds to segment part which amplification should correspond to required signal level. Gain of amplifier is controlled by produced comparison signal. EFFECT: increased speed of determination of amplification of modulated signal. 10 cl, 11 dwg
