FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment for picking and loading beet and other roots into vehicles. SUBSTANCE: machine has two independent link mechanisms with retainers. One link mechanism kinematically connects upper stop 20 and lower stop 21 of raking grid 1 with slide valve of distributing device 10 for controlling hydraulic cylinders 4 of rocking boom 3, and other link mechanism connects stops 25 and 26 on rocking boom 3 with slide valve of distributing device 10 for controlling hydraulic cylinders 2 of raking grid 1, and upper stops 20 and 25 and lower stops 21 and 26 of rocking boom 3 and raking grid 1. Each retainer has connecting rod 13 (19) carrying spring-biased slide 11 (17) pivotally connected with related link mechanism. Stops on boom 3 and raking grid 1 have spring-biased movable parts adapted for engagement with related members of link mechanisms.
