FIELD: prevention of salt deposits in wells, in petroleum collection and transportation system, and also in other industries where deposits in aqueous systems should be avoided. SUBSTANCE: composition comprises, wt.-%: oxyethylidene diphosphonic acid, 8-16; alkanol amine, 6-8; ethylene glycol, 20-42; and water, the balance. The composition is highly efficient to prevent carbonate deposits under conditions of high bed water mineralization and retains corrosion protection effect.
