ARMOUR LINING OF TUMBLING MILL Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: lining of cylindrical part of tumbling mills, applicable in mining-concentrating, power, construction and chemical industries for preparation of raw material. SUBSTANCE: lining has a set of rolled armour plates with individual attachment to the mill barrel. The armour plates have a trough-shaped working surface, even side faces and shaped base. Each armour plate in cross-section is caved-in in radius with symmetrically arranged sections relative to the armour plate axis, evenly conjugated on one side to the slot for bolts, and on the other side-to the end faces of the armour plate, having wave- shaped heads at the ends. The head radius, armour plate thickness under the slot and the thickness of the maximum convex section relate as 1:1:2. EFFECT: enhanced durability of lining and reduced expenditures connected with its production. 2 cl, 2 dwg
