FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: electric heater has following components: body with instrumental head located in upper part of body, electrode with wire, electric heating element which are located in body, and electric insulation. Electric heating element is made as interlayer between body and electrode. This interlayer is manufactured from high-melting metals, their alloys or composite materials with mechanical admixtures of current-conducting and/or insulating materials or of solid electrolytes, colloidal solutions and their mixtures based on metals and oxides with addition of acids and alkalis produced by mixing or in result of chemical synthesis with electrical resistance variable in length. Characteristic feature of electric heater is its equidistant positioning and intimate contact between surfaces of body, electric heating element and electrode at any form of their embodiment. Aforesaid electric heater has following advantages: very reliable electric heating element, high specific heat emission which is higher in nose part of heater. Loss of heat is eliminated and this helps achieve intensive destruction of asphalt-resin, hydrate-paraffin, and ice depositions in well. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 5 dwg
