METHOD FOR DETERMINING PARAMETERS OF GAS-BEARING BED AND OUTPUT OF WELLS DRILLED IN BED Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: gas producing industry. SUBSTANCE: this can be used for selection of optimal productive capacity of wells drilled in gas-bearing wells in development of gas-condensate deposits. According to method, wells are subjected to testing. Measured during this testing are bed pressure P_b and bottom-hole pressure P_b-h in well. Testing of wells is started at minimal possible output with gradually increasing it. Inflow of gas to bottom hole of well is calculated according to mathematical formula which is brought forth in description of invention. This formula takes into account following parameters: permeability factor, gas-yielding depth of bed, bed and standard temperature, coefficient of compressibility in bed conditions and in standard conditions, dynamic viscosity of gas in bed conditions, pressure at standard conditions, radius of feed contour, and radius of well. Power-conserving output is also calculated according to given condition with taking account of well output, unitary function which is equal to 0 at Q ≤ Q₀ and equal to 1 at Q > Q₀, also taking account of factor characterizing geometry of porous passages and density of gas at standard conditions. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
