FIELD: structural image recognition for on-line control systems, systems for identification, recognition, controlling and testing quality and operations of articles of aerospace industry, power supply, trunk pipelines, etc. SUBSTANCE: method involves representation of measuring parameter as color code from digital code, displaying complete set of measured information on display in several color video monitors as color-code matrix chart [n*t] , where n is number of measured characteristics, t is time when they are measured. The method uses causal relations between processes which run in article and are represented by these characteristics in order to unambiguous recognition of dynamics of running processes under investigation by displayed color-code matrix chart [n*t] taking into account sequence of their mutual influences on transition between states.
