WASHING-OFF TANK FOR LAVATORY PAN Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: sanitary equipment. SUBSTANCE: washing-off tank has body, cover, release fitting which is made up of syphon with sealing gasket and nut for connection with tank body by its one end. Another nut with central through passage for location of syphon tie-rod and connecting to tank cover is provided on other end of release fitting. Also provided are sealing gasket and fastening members for connection of washing-off tank body and lavatory pan. Reliable sealing between release fitting and tank body, and also rigid connection of tank and body at preparation and further operation of washing-off tank are achieved due to fact that syphon is made in the form of base and post which are manufactured as double-stage hollow cylinders being rigidly interconnected by their stages of large diameter. Lateral cross-section of syphon sealing gasket is made in the form of rectangular trapezium. Large base of this trapezium in combination with inclined side of trapezium creates sealing edge which embraces perimeter of outlet hole in tank body. Adds to proper sealing is location of small base of trapezium and other side of trapezium in recess of release fitting base. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 4 dwg
