METHOD FOR TREATING GALL STONES Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves application of electric current towards projection of liver and gull for 5-30 minutes in each session. Frequency of electric current is within range of 20-120 Hz, current intensity 40-100 mA, duration of pulses 0.2-0.4 ms. After 5- 7 sessions method involves combined magnetic-laser application for 5-10 min in each session having 12-15 sessions per course. Laser beam wavelength is within range of 0.88-0.90 mcm, laser beam density 2.5-3.0 W/cm and pulse rate 5-5000 Hz and magnetic induction intensity is 34-36 mT. Before each session rectangular bipolar pulses of electric current are applied to forehead and occiput for 20-30 min. Duration of pulses is 5-7 ms, rate 70-100 Hz, current intensity 3-5 mA.
