FIELD: organic chemistry, agriculture. SUBSTANCE: plant growth regulating agent has a derivative of epoxycyclohexane as an active component of the general formula (I) where R1 means hydrogen atom, C1-C6-alkyl-group or C3-C6-cyclo- -alkyl-group; R2 and R3 form together C2-C3-polymethylene group. Invention relates to also plant growth regulating agent involving derivative of epoxycyclohexane and brassinosteroid as active components. Derivatives of epoxycyclohexane show strong effect with respect to plant growth regulation that is equal or above that of abscisic acid. They are useful as plant growth regulating agents that accelerate plant growth, germination and seedling growth, inhibit transpiration and wilting, enhance cold-resistance, accelerate growth and mature of fruits, roots and root crops, stems or bulbs and others.
