FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: wall unit has side boards and middle board which are connected to each other. It also has connecting member for joining with adjacent wall units. This connecting member is made in the form of groove-and-tongue combination. At least one middle board in combination with one or several side boards create at least one protrusion on at least one longitudinal side and at least one matching recess in opposite side. Also provided is at least one protrusion on one of end sides and matching recess in opposite side. Middle board is sawn for same dimensions as side boards. Application of aforesaid wall unit adds strength to joining with adjacent wall units in cribwork of wooden building or structure. EFFECT: reduced labour-intensity in its manufacture and reduced amount of raw materials needed in manufacture. 2 cl, 12 dwg
