MULTIPLE ROPE HOISTING PLANT Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: materials handling facilities; transportation of loads and people in vehicles along inclined and vertical guides. SUBSTANCE: multiple rope hoisting plant has drums with hoisting wire rope secured in drums. Wire ropes are connected with main shaft of hoisting machine by of spring-and-friction safeguards with hydraulic drives connected to pressure regulators. Pressure regulators are connected to load forming units of lifting wire rope spans and to setting device through change-over switch contacts. Limit switch housing is installed on main shaft. Roller of limit switch engages with pushers installed on drum forehead. Contacts of limit switch are placed in hoisting plant protection control circuit. EFFECT: provision of protection of hoisting plant in emergency and in case of appearance of excessive efforts in wire ropes. 3 dwg
