FIELD: polymer materials disposal. SUBSTANCE: to produce chemical raw materials and liquid fuel components, plastic utility refuses and waste are depolymerized into pumpable and volatile phases. The latter is separated into gas phase and condensate that is subjected to standard oil-processing processes, whereas pumpable phase is subjected to liquid-phase hydrogenation, gasification, low-temperature carbonization, or combination of these operations. Depolymerization is carried out with no hydrogen added, preferably at pressure 0.01 to 300 bar, more specifically between 0.1 and 100 bar, in particular, at 0.2 to 2 bar, at temperature 150 to 470 C, preferably at 250 to 450 C, and reaction time 0.1 to 10 hr, preferably 0.5 to 5 hr. Three streams are withdrawn in amounts: 15-85 % depolymerizate, 10-80 % condensate, and 5-20 % gas mixture based on weight of initial plastic material.
