FIELD: office equipment for making final and marking inscriptions by means of symbols of different alphabets in many fields of activities, such as home conditions, education, production. SUBSTANCE: portable printing apparatus has frame, set of carriages, set of single-letter stamps and conveyor with movable center. Inscriptions are made on sheets of paper or film of any size, on flat surface of any construction and size. At any stage of making inscriptions (surface ruling, marking of symbols in line, printing of symbols), frame of printing apparatus may be fastened to any portion of sheet or construction, at any angle to edge or line by any suitable method in accordance with specific case: pressing by hand, pins or adhesive tape. Required carriage of set of carriages is mounted on related guiding frame at each stage of making inscriptions. Drawing device is used at surface lining stage for drawing straight lines of any length at any angle to other line and for measuring angle between lines, as well as for carrying out other similar tasks.
