FIELD: lubricating materials, more particularly oil compositions for high-power diesel engines of transport vehicles. SUBSTANCE: motor oil comprises, wt.%: barium sulfate, 0.5-3.0; barium alkyl-salicylate, 3.5-6.0; mixed barium salt of salicylic and alkylaryldithiophosphoric acid derivatives, 2.5-4.0; 2,6- ditertbutyl phenol and alkylphenol-formaldehyde and ammonia condensation product treated with boric acid, 1-3; polymethyl siloxane, 0.02-0.005; and petroleum oil, the balance. EFFECT: improved service characteristics such as detergent properties and thermooxidative stability of the new composition. 3 tbl
