FIELD: agriculture, fungicides. SUBSTANCE: method involves application of rhodamine "6 Ж" on leaves and fruits surface at concentration 0.05%. In 2 days visible colored foci of pathogen are "developed" on leaf or fruit surface which are absent before surface treatment with indicator. Invention ensures to make prognosis of infectious stages of fungal sicknesses in crops. Fungal sicknesses in crops including an apple tree scab can be detected for some days earlier of visible symptom appearance using an indicator. Proposed method and procedure of its using give a possibility to make a prognosis of an advisability of plant treatment with fungicides and to determine optimal date of these treatments.
