APPARATUS FOR ARTIFICIAL PULMONARY VENTILATION Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has high-pressure unit, bellows unit, respiratory circuit and control unit. High-pressure unit includes excess-pressure regulator, electromagnetic valve, injector, gas-flow regulator, filter-damper, and pressure switch. Bellows unit includes airtight body with crimped bellows positioned in it, respiratory volume regulator which includes pickup of bellows moving base position, disc with handle and flexible tie-rod which one end is secured to moving base of bellows. Unit also includes injector limit switch. Respiratory circuit contains circulation valves, patient's inhalation line, line of respiratory mixture delivery from anesthetic apparatus, safety valve, pressure gauge, inhalation and exhalation hoses, patient's T-piece, and condensate collectors. Apparatus is provided with indication plate for digital indication of artificial pulmonary ventilation parameters and signalling of operating modes and emergency conditions.
