FIELD: aviation. SUBSTANCE: device includes parachute connected with flying vehicle, rocket connected with parachute, pulley with drive and two ducts connected by means of axle for turning about it. Hollow axle is located in tail section of helicopter. Parachute is placed in one duct which may be locked in extended position. Rope connecting the parachute with helicopter is passed through hollow axle and is connected with pulley. Rocket is placed in second duct. Center of mass of ducts is located below axis of their turn. Parachute may be used for recovery of helicopter in an emergency at low altitude including control of braking effort. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 3 dwg
