CODING MAGNETO-MECHANICAL LOCK Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: locking devices. SUBSTANCE: this coding magneto-mechanical lock is prominent for its higher secrecy and sturdiness. Lock has body which incorporates latch together with components which convert rotational movement of coaxial handles brought out to both sides of body into advance movement of latch. Also incorporated is secrecy mechanism which contains spring-biased matrix being axially movable together with power magnet and seats. Also provided is strip-like holder together with rod-like magnetically sensible detents which are coaxial with seats in matrix and are inserted in its holes with possible swinging. Also provided is socket-type key with coding magnets which are located in coaxial seats of holder. Power magnets are located in center of holder. Magnetically sensible detents are made up of two parts. Part of detents which faces key is made of magnetically soft material. Other part of detents which is located at opposite side of holder is made of non-magnetic material. Seats in key and matrix are made as square in configuration. Coding magnets are inserted into seats according to lock code either in center or in corner. Inserts in matrix have central hole or hole which is diagonally displaced. Power magnets of key and matrix are located with radial clearance in cup-shaped magnetic cores. Coupling sleeve is put on shaft of handle which is located at key application side with possible axial displacement. Coupling sleeve is connected with matrix through leverage system. Oppositely located handle is permanently kinematically connected with latch and contains components for linking with coupling sleeve. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
