Abstract RU 2129679 C1

FIELD: transport engineering; disk brakes. SUBSTANCE: disk brake caliper has housing arranged to enclosed vehicle brake disk, and cover secured on housing. Caliper has also two thrust bushings connected to brake pad and made movable in axial direction in housing, bridge coupling two thrust bushings, and lever to transmit brake force from brake cylinder. Brake cylinder is secured on caliper bridge. Caliper is furnished with supports cams parallel to bridge which are rigidly connected to inner side of cover. lever has curvilinear wedge with two cylindrical surfaces in meshing with cylindrical surfaces of supporting cams and bridge. Brake adjuster is arranged on splined shaft installed for rotation of supporting cams. EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced reliability of caliper, cut down cost of manufacture. 11 cl, 9 dwg
