FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: hydrostatic transmission has hydraulic pump and reversible hydraulic motor kinematically coupled with vehicle wheels. Hydraulic pump and hydraulic motor are interconnected by hydraulic lines through three-position distributor. First control space of three-position distributor is connected by hydraulic control line with operating output of first controlled servovalve, and second control space is connected by hydraulic control line with operating output of second controlled servovalve. Two-position distributors with control spaces in end faces are installed in first and second hydraulic control lines. Inputs of both controlled servovalve are connected with control pressure source. Drain outputs of controlled servovalves are connected with hydraulic tank, and operating outputs of these valves are connected with inputs of OR valve whose output is connected with control devices of hydraulic pump and hydraulic motor and control space of controlled shutoff valve. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of braking and safety of vehicle, increased capacity and reduced power consumption. 1 dwg
