FIELD: manufacture of flying vehicles; designing of blades for main rotors with adjustable diameters. SUBSTANCE: blade of main rotor of adjustable diameter has inner and outer sections of aerodynamic profile and unit for telescopic motion of outer section relative to inner one. Twist angle of both sections linearly changes from end of root to outer tips of blade sections. outer section is located at shifted twist angle relative to inner one to ensure conjugation of twist angle between inner and outer sections. Method of enhancing efficiency in imparting forward motion to flying vehicle consists in telescopic motion of outer aerodynamic profile section of main rotor relative to inner one which is necessary for chamber of diameter of main rotor. outer section is located at shifted twist angle relative to inner one to ensure conjugation of twist angle between inner and outer sections.
