DRILLING RIG FOR IN-LINE DRILLING OF BLAST-HOLES Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: drilling rig has undercarriage, drilling machine installed on feeding unit, head-piece. Drilling rig additionally has guiding beam and mechanism which ensures turning of beam relative to undercarriage. Also provided is inverser consisting of crank, levers, and connecting rods which are equal in length. Head-piece is included in rotating pairs with equally long rods and also in higher kinematic pair with guiding beam. Application of aforesaid embodiment of drilling rig allows for increasing drilling productivity due to shorter time needed for positioning of machine together with more accurate drilling of blast-hole lines.
