FIELD: test of tires of motor vehicles under road and field conditions. SUBSTANCE: tire tester includes prime mover, hinge frame where tested tire is fixed, mechanism for compensation of reactive moment, mechanism of drive and loading mechanism capable of setting cyclic vertical load. Cargo section of prime mover carries gear controlling frequency of vibrations of vertical load that can set it according to arbitrary law. Gear is manufactured in the form of adjustable throttle connected to pressure line of hydraulic motor and generator of random values connected through stabilizer to solenoid coil that controls throttle. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of tests by way of improved simulation of external forces acting on wheel. 4 dwg
