FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: stand has artificial teat positioned in lower part of hollow housing provided with cover. Metal pipe is fixed centrally of cover. Rod connected with spherical member is extending through metal pipe. Spherical member is biased to artificial teat opening by spring. Rod with spherical member is moved by spring and by the action of vacuum in space below artificial teat. Movement of rod past link mechanism is transmitted to self-registering pen which registers on rotating drum changes in vacuum extent in space below artificial teat depending on milk yield intensity. Sufficient operation of milking unit is provided, when stable vacuum extent in mentioned space is maintained. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 cl, 1 dwg
